Christmas Celebrations & Meet the Team

December started with a bang here at Shower Part HQ with our Christmas party at Rebellion in Pentewan. This 1920s style moonshine bar is packed full of character with fantastic staff, amazing food and yummy cocktails….which we just had to try!! A fabulous time was had by all and we would definitely recommend Rebellion as a wonderful venue.

Now that we are settled in our new HQ we thought it would be nice for you to meet the team so here is a little bit about us…..

Indre – Director

Indre is the owner of the company which she started back in 2007 when she needed to replace her own shower rollers. After much searching, she eventually found what she needed and realised that other people must have experienced the same problems in locating shower rollers and the business began from there. Jo M – General Manager

 Jo has been with the business since June 2016 and is our General Manager. She is responsible for maintaining the business as a whole as well as taking care of the staff.

Jo’s background is in marketing and she brings all of her considerable knowledge and skills to the table which is essential for us to grow and expand the business.

When not at work or busy with her family, Jo can be found elbow deep in crafting hobbies including handmade soap and candles.

Carla – Project Manager

Carla joined Shower Part in May 2018 and is our Project Manager. She is involved in our new trade section and liaises directly with plumbers and other tradespeople in order to expand this side of the business. She also undertakes various project work and is always on the lookout for new products and suppliers so that we can increase our range and continue to offer fantastic value for our customers.

Outside of work, Carla spends lots of time at her local beach having fun with her two little dogs, Frank and Vinnie. She also enjoys floristry in her spare time.

Jo H – Office Manager

Jo became a member of the Shower Part family in June 2018 and is our Office Manager. She takes care of the day to day running of the business including liaising with customers via email, part matching, invoicing, collating the accounting, maintaining listings on our sales channels and daily administration duties.

Jo spends her time off rambling around the Cornish countryside with her dog, Toby. She loves to read and has discovered a new interest in gardening since moving to Cornwall.

Rod – Warehouse Manager

Rod is our longest serving team member and has been with Shower Part since November 2014. He is our Warehouse Manager and is responsible for processing, packing and shipping customer orders as well as running the warehouse and dealing with incoming shipments from our suppliers.

Rod is our part match extraordinaire; if he cannot find the part then nobody can!

Outside of Shower Part Rod enjoys cosy nights in with his family and spending time with his Children and Grandchildren travelling and sightseeing.

Friday 13^th December was Christmas Jumper Day for Save The Children so we decided to get involved too and have raised £50.50. Every little bit helps!
