Received last week and not as expected. This is cheap plastic with a chrome like covering. They fit fine but Not sure how well these will stand the test of time. I think the description of the product should be a lot clearer that these are not in fact chrome/metal, but plastic.

When the knob on our shower cubicle broke when the central plastic spindle broke ,I thought that I would buy another one at our local hardware shop. No luck--we don't stock them. So I went to the very large nearby B&Q only to receive the same reply. I decided to go back to the original supplier of the Malki shower but they didn't keep them in stock and wanted to know the shower Model . They suggested I might find it easier to contact the company direct , giving me a phone number. I phoned , explained the problem and was then put in a queue ; I gave up after holding for about 8mins. I decided to phone again at about 4.30pm as this first cal was made at lunchtime. Much frustration when the same thing happened. All this for a shower knob ! I then had the idea of going on line. Found a good site with a big choice and picked the replacement knob from those illustrated.This was delivered in about 48hrs and simply fitted. I noted the much stro nger metal central screw thread so this I would rate as a shower knob superior to that originally supplied. Happy customer!
